The annual Fair offered no shortage of outstanding displays on the concourse, new toys, gadgets and games, colorful characters and insight to key trends for this year all whilst providing four days of excitement and laughter for a record breaking attendance. Those eligible for admission include retailers, wholesalers, buying groups, etc. Complete attendance of over 4,962 buyers and visitors. Inspired by children to provide a resource for meeting their play needs today and beyond. Encourage the manufacture and export of Australian made toys. Improve the public image of the industry. Produce members with surplus effective service. The Board comprises individuals from member companies and these AA Directors are elected by the membership. A team of employed staff in central Melbourne administers the association. The members of the association are committed to the promotion of a sound play environment for children. We are firmly committed to the development and promotion of safe play environments for children, and to store only safe products on the market. We concur to adhere strictly to national and international safety standards and to receive prompt, effective and good action should a safety problem arise. We are committed to the principle of meticulous standards in regard to the advertising to children and adhere to government regulations and requirements. We recognize we have a duty to ensure lawful, fair, safe and well working conditions for those employed in the contract manufacture of children’s products. An Exhibition and Event Management veteran, Gabby has extensive experience in Public Relations and brings the association leadership and a prosperity of knowledge. She’s been instrumental in managing our Association Events initially as our Coordinator, and now taking the precede as our Events Manager. She has a tremendous thankfulness for the industry, and role of our membership in bringing educational, safe products to children and their families. The newest member of the AA team, Shannon heads up istration of the AA and is heavily involved in the coordination of all AA Projects. Many children require special attention to assist them precede a life that many of us take for granted. Before to this the toy trade had for many years raised money to purchase wheelchairs and equipment for Australian children with particular needs through the activities of the Toy Trade Charity Fund. ICTI is an association of associations and is committed on behalf of its member organizations to the operation of toy factories in a lawful, safe, and healthful manner. It upholds the principles that no underage, forced, or prison labor should be employed that no one is denied a job because of gender, ethnic origin, religion, affiliation or association, and that factories comply with laws protecting the environment. Supply agreements with firms manufacturing on behalf of ICTI members must also yield for adherence to these principles. The role of ICTI is to inform, educate, and survey its members so that individual member companies can adhere to its Code of Business Practices.
