The project is to assist schools to grasp better how their Catholic identity is expressed in labor and practice and to promote them in their coming development. Catholic schools and parents remain their productive collaboration in the education of the young people in our community. We all know Lent is approaching when we begin to hear this question!This Lent let us all remember that Jesus challenges us personally in three particular areas: prayer, fasting and alms giving. Pope Francis reminds us that 'the Word is a gift'he stresses prayer, fasting and alms giving. In addressing the changing needs of our students, teachers, parents, parishes and the community, and the Catholic Education Melbourne community, the Catholic education system is challenged to reflect continuously on its Catholic identity, in notable the ways we articulate our identity and vision and express our distinctiveness as Catholic communities in a pluralistic society. It supports Catholic schools and Catholic Education Melbourne to better grasp how their Catholic identity is expressed in labor and in practice and how to promote the coming development of that Catholic identity. Not only does strengthen Catholic Education Melbourne’s Catholic identity have an known role in enhancing the Catholic identity of the schools we serve all people occupied in Catholic education need to have unfold and inclusive opportunities for continuing faith formation and the development of genuine selves. THEME 2: QUALITY TEACHING FOR ALL LEARNERS 2.1 Improved learning, social and well being outcomes and ongoing spiritual development for every student a) Implement the Catholic Education Melbourne Learning and Teaching Framework (Horizons of Hope) and a supporting, integrated set of strategies that are responsive to school needs and designed to strengthen: principal, school leader and teacher professional practice and formation. b) Prosper and implement a schools workforce strategy in collaboration with schools to support evidence based planning for differentiated professional learning programs. The focus of its endeavors is to provide customized urge to schools, parishes and communities to improve the educational outcomes of all students and create sustainable communities of faith. Promote for school leaders to flourish the capability to use resources effectively. Effective governance to ensure informed decision making, and compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of performance, while being responsive to the local needs of schools and their communities. b) Prosper and implement an information systems engagement strategy across schools and Catholic Education Melbourne to help schools to make more effective use of technologies, including those in ICON. c) Implement systems and process improvement strategies across Catholic Education Melbourne to promote more efficient and effective services to schools. It is a week like no other, a chance to rejoice and commemorate more than a 150 years of service to the Victorian community by Catholic schools. Catholic education has a mission of inclusion, and the Catholic Education Services staff group is busy to maximize access and opportunity for all our schools though its School Engagement Model, creating opportunities for collaborative learning and strategies for improvement to maximize available resources and build a culture of learning together.
