We represent and work with hundreds of leading businesses operating in solar, wind, energy efficiency, hydro, bio energy, energy storage, geothermal and marine along with more than 400 solar installers. We are an incorporated notforprofit association based in Melbourne and operating nationally. We bear a variety of services to members but our primary role is to flourish and recommend effective policy to accelerate the development and deployment of all neat energy technologies. We report to a nine person board elected by our members. Our policy and advocacy work is guided by the Policy and Advocacy Committee, which includes a representative of each sponsoring member organization and the chair of each directorate. Membership supports the overall work of the Tidy Energy Council in advocating for an effective policy and market framework for neat energy, as healthy as promoting the industry and its achievements. The vision of the Neat Energy Council is to transform Australia's energy system into a tidy energy system. Our purpose is to lead and encourage the growth of the neat energy industry in Australia through: Developing standards and regulations and ensuring the integrity of the industry. We represent renewable energy and energy efficiency. All technologies and projects should conform with apropos laws and regulations in that jurisdiction. We will not urge fossil fuel based energy generation including: traditional coal fired electricity generation. Technology or activities that improve the efficiency of renewable electricity generation (as defined above). She has been with Pacific Hydro since 2006, starting out as Corporate Lawyer then moving on to manage the Australian legal team. In 2013 Rachel took on the position of Executive Manager, Finance and Legal with responsibility for the Australian business' finance function as healthy as legal issues. Rachel has extensive experience in the transactions surrounding the development and operation of energy projects. He has over 17 years experience in the energy sector in developing, acquiring and divesting solar and wind projects worldwide. This experience has provided a firm thankfulness of the challenges involved in the deployment of renewable projects. Before this he worked with International Power for 12 years in multiple roles related to the development and acquisition of renewable projects across both Australia and Europe. Jenny is a regular speaker at renewable energy conferences, has worked in management roles for over 15 years and is a member of a number of committees and notforprofit boards.
