The Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Association (BIA) understands his passion and what makes the industry dare to be different! Lisa Ravech has over 30 years experience in the hairdressing industry as a color technician, educator, session stylist and salon owner. Lisa has been a triumphant competitor in many industry competitions as healthy as being a judge and Chairperson of Judges for the International Society of Hairdressers. Geoffrey has been recognized for his talents with many awards to his name, being a finalist and in some cases winner of many high profile competitions over the preceding 12 years. Digital copy of all photographic entries are to be supplied to BIA i.e. Judging will consider hair, makeup and overall effect, although emphasis will be on hair and make up. On one model, competitor must create a braided hairstyle to reflect vogue fashion trends. Models will be required for the award presentations. On One female model apprentice is to be mentored to create a hair up style that allows the opportunity to showcase their hairdressing skills. The finished result should reflect 2016 salon work that is created when a client requests a unused hair up style. This competition promises to be a dynamic presentation and our winners labor may be published in our industry media publications. Up to 5 models can be paraded on the catwalk (must have no less than 2 models) This is a team building category that allows an complete salon to get involved This is a designer collection presentation no dancing allowed Retain in comply the meaning of Session Styling A hairdressing session stylist creates and cuts hair styles for national and international fashion parades, advertising campaigns, magazine editorial shoots etc. Competitors must create a fashion look and put together a 1 tiny catwalk and designer presentation to a song (timing will be judged) Song name and artist to be given to BIA two weeks before to the event Music, hair, clothes and makeup is to reflect the collection.
