For the former 10 years earlier his appointment as Places Victoria's Chairperson, he led the Victoria Division of the Urban Development Institute of Australia as its Executive Director where he was responsible for managing all aspects of the organization and was a steady media commentator on industry issues. She practices in all aspects of planning law including statutory and strategic planning approvals for major project developments, commercial, industrial and residential planning projects and local government work. Graeme is a highly experienced property and development adviser with over 40 years’ experience and has worked in high rise commercial projects, publicly listed companies and development property believe management organizations in Australia. Places Victoria has an Investment Committee that reviews all fresh project opportunities. To ensure that commercial rigor is applied to our projects, the Investment Committee includes representation from private industry and the public sector. Places Victoria was born from two government land organizations the Urban and Regional Land Corporation, which played a key role in the development of Melbourne's growth corridors, and the Docklands' Authority, which was set up in the early 1990s to control the development of Melbourne's Docklands. The Goods Shed was built in 1889 and originally spanned almost two city blocks. The building’s historic outer was preserved and Vic Urban worked with LVN Architects to deliver a contemporary interior fit out that encouraged collaboration. Rainwater harvesting from the rooftop and a Frey water system to accumulate and treat water to be reused for toilet flushing. Development Victoria aims to create a sense of place and assets through development, urban renewal and community connection.
