This policy establishes a set of policy principles to ensure the Institute and its members are aligned in valuing and exhibiting principles of fairness and equity, which precede to the provision of equal opportunities, rights and benefits to all men and women engaged within the architectural profession, and to eliminate gender based impacts on the participation and progression of women within the profession. By combining creative design with technical knowledge, architects create the physical environment in which people live, which in turn, influences quality of life. And, what’s huge for members without a participating bricksandmortar place nearby, is that they can access the online services of any of the four bookstores offering the equivalent immense discount. Institute members will be needed to provide their member number and name to the bookstore in order to be eligible for the purchase discount. This Building Likes Me is a companion to TWA's beginning book, Volume. Thirtysix recent buildings and projects are comprehensively presented in pairs, through photographs, drawings and images of TWA's distinctive models. There are over 400 illustrations which are complemented by a multitude of concise critical essays and fascinating accounts and images of life within the practice. Boffins Books carries over 2,500 titles in the fields of residential and commercial architecture, art, urban planning, photography, graphic and industrial design, furniture and interior design and landscape architecture. Although our collection of books is specialized in the technical and nonfiction space, all subjects of general interest including myth and children’s books titles are also represented. Since the closure of the iconic architect bookstore we have expanded this range and look forward to it continuing to grow into the future. In addition to architecture our focus is in the fields of new and contemporary art, design, film, fashion and photography. We pride ourselves in searching out books that aren't often found in larger bookstores. Since the closure of architect, Published Art acquired all their stock from Melbourne and Sydney, and our aim is to be the ultimate destination for architecture books and publications. We will keep up our potent commitments to the other forms of design from graphic art to art, photography to fashion, as healthy as pretty children's books.
